About me
For more than 15 years, I have working at the intersection of technology, policy and business in Berlin and the EU. Over the years, I have advised Big Tech firms, supported promising start-ups and led the European government affairs work at Dropbox until the end of 2024.
This newsletter analyses the policy initiatives that aim to create a vibrant digital economy in Europe that can keep track of the dynamic in the United States and the business strategies that companies use to shape these regulations — or live with them. My focus will be in scale-ups, although this inevitably means that I will be writing about Big Tech and start-ups as well. I believe though that Europe’s opportunity for now lies with supporting the digital transformation of the backbone of our economy.
Please do get in touch if you have any topics that you think I should cover or if you have a point of view that will add to the policy debate — I want this newsletter to be a space for non-partisan, jargon-free policy debate!
